I cannot believe this is the last week of our Halloween crafting stretch (10 days) until Halloween! I love costumes and dressing up with my girls. Lately we have been making our own costumes and wearing them instead of buying them. The girls have really enjoyed it and take pride it their outfits. Do you guys buy your costumes or make them?

Alright this will be a bit longer as I wanted to make sure I squeezed in those final three days into this post for you. I hope you and your kids have enjoyed these Halloween crafts so far.

Halloween Science Spooky Oobleck

I know what your thinking…what on earth is an Oobleck? I had questions about this too but found out it is a Non-newtonian fluid which means it is not a liquid or a solid. Over at Little Bins Little Hands she said when you pick it up you should be able to form it into a ball before it will turn back into liquid and fall back into the bowl. So make sure the kids play with it over the bowl and not anywhere else or you may have a mess. This is part of her Science STEM projects! She has amazing fun ideas to do with kids on her blog so if you ever want more ideas I encourage you to check her blog out.

Movable Bat Paper Doll

This one just looks like so much fun! They not only get to color and cut it out but then it gives you the steps to put it together to make it move for you. The kids will really get a kick out of seeing their bats look like they are flying.

Spider Web Art

This is a really neat one as the kids get to use a crayon to make their spider web and then they get to paint over it with watercolor paint and then sprinkle salt over the top. Who doesn’t love making spiders and webs over Halloween? These turn out so fun too!

Pumpkin Guts Slime Recipe

Here is a great way to use those pumpkin seeds that just get thrown away after pumpkin carving. We always throw them out because we don’t like cooking and eating the seeds so this is a great alternative and fun too!
